I strive to create joyful, whimsical artwork that celebrates the beauty of nature, the warmth of connection, and the magic of everyday moments. My work is influenced by the landscapes of Virginia, where rolling hills, lush forests, and winding rivers provide endless inspiration. I am particularly drawn to the gentle and often humorous interactions between animals, as well as between people and the natural world.
I am a member of Del Ray Artisans and participate in exhibits in Alexandria, VA and elsewhere in the DC area.

Lori’s work has also appeared in shows in Georgia including the Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival, Marietta Square Art Walk, Roswell Fine Arts Alliance Gallery, and the Hapeville Museum Gallery as well as in North Carolina at Asheville Art in the Park.
Her work has been published in Creative Quarterly: The Journal of Art & Design, and her humorous editorial illustrations have received awards from the Magazine Association of the Southeast and the ASBPE: American Society of Business Publication Editors.
